MONTRÉÉAL MIXES TRENDINESS AND TRADITION CITY TOUR

Discover Montréal with its bi-cultural heritage and cosmopolitan blend of the old and new on this comprehensive overview of our city. Old Montréal's rich architectural and historical legacy, the financial district, Montréal's leading museums, the cultural and performing arts institutions, Montréal's elegant upper class communities and the world renowned St. Joseph's Oratory. Along the way, the tour includes a stop at the summit of Mt. Royal Park for a panoramic view of Montréal and a guided visit of Notre-Dame Basilica, an outstanding example of neo-gothic architecture. After lunch, a short drive will be taken through Ste. Helene and Notre-Dame Islands, sites of the 1967 Expo and the Montréal Grand Prix. Bus transportation will be provided for the full tour. OLD MONTRÉAL WALK AND THE MUSEUM OF ARCHEOLOGY

Your guide will walk you back into the life of the first settlers of Montréal. In this historic quarter, you will stroll through a maze of narrow cobblestone lanes and old buildings, providing a perfect opportunity to discover the history and charm of Old Montréal. En route you will see Place d'Armes, Jacques Cartier Square and Montréal City Hall. One of the highlight of this tour is the museum of Archeology, where you will discover the history of Montréal, starting with the multimedia show, and watch thousands of years of history spin by in 18 fascinating minutes. You will then explore the remains in the Museum at your own pace, through a vibrant and colorful exhibition. Bus transportation will be provided for the full tour. LUNCH CRUISE ON BATEAU-MOUCHE
11:30am to 1:00pm

Discover the magnificent view of Montréal and the St. Lawrence River from a Paris-style glass-roofed boat, Bateau-Mouche. Relax in comfort while a guide tells you about our history and our geography. Le Bateau-Mouche will trace its way under Montréal's bridges, then around the sites of Expo '67, Notre- Dame and Ste. Helene's Island. A nice light lunch is served during the cruise.
